| The Dickinson Parent - Teacher Association (PTA) shall be the umbrella organization of John Dickinson High School (JDHS), uniting the activities of the student, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and general community. The purpose is to facilitate the activities and fundraisers among the various organizations and clubs within Dickinson to benefit the school community.
The PTA will undertake the following:
- Staff appreciation breakfasts / luncheon
- Provide the Mary Kimball Scholarship
- Sponsor after prom
- Undertake fundraising projects to benefit JDHS
- Dispense funds, as requested, for student activities and organizations
- Build community support for JDHS
- Promote membership and participation in PTA
- Implement goals outlined in Dickinson Action Plan
- Communicate with members via e-mail
