Heads Up, Juniors!

Preparing for college can be a
nerve-wracking ordeal for many high
school students. For the juniors,
preparing for college is a bit simpler
than for the Some seniors are still in a
rush looking for the perfect college for
them, but by now should have their
applications under control. Juniors
already know that they should concentrate
on this year's grades because most
colleges look at the junior year in high
school more than any other. Another
good idea is for juniors to take a SAT
Prep class because it will help prepare
students for the dreaded SAT test.
The first thing to do is talk to with
guidance as soon as possible about the
type of college that would be best for
them, find out his or her GPA and ask any
other questions about finding a
college. Some questions students
should ask themselves are "What type
of college am I looking for? and
"What will be my major?"
All colleges have different requirements
for being accepted, so look at them
carefully before applying. Take the
SATs when during late your junior year or
early senior year, and take them as many
times as necessary. SAT forms are
available in the guidance office.
Other sites that are designed to help
juniors and seniors find the right
colleges are available as well.
